En d\u00e9pit des graves risques qu\u2019il courait, il d\u00e9cida de l\u2019h\u00e9berger et le cacha dans son grenier pendant plusieurs mois. Si les Allemands qui \u00e0 cette \u00e9poque occupaient les villages avoisinants l\u2019avaient d\u00e9couvert ils auraient certainement fusill\u00e9 le d\u00e9serteur ainsi que toute ma famille.
